Meet the team below!

Rachel Gary works in digital advertising as a Senior Account Manager at MightHive. My goal is to help businesses move away from traditional advertising, like in magazines or newspapers, and towards more advanced online advertising that you may see on Hulu or websites. I work with clients in a variety of industries: travel, shopping, sports, restaurants, etc. The great part about my job is that it is both creative and analytical. On the creative side, I design advertisements and develop campaign strategies. On the analytical side, I look at data to determine the effectiveness of my campaigns and see how I can improve my campaigns for the future. In my most recent project, I created digital advertising campaigns for a casino in Las Vegas and a ski resort in Wyoming. Prior to living in San Francisco, I lived in Washington DC where I studied economics and politics and competed in women’s rowing.

Divya Elango is a Senior Product Manager at Kohls.com. I lead Search and Personalization across Mobile, Desktop and Tablet channels. I moved to the US soon after my undergraduation in India to pursue my masters in computer science from University of Southern California. I started my career as an engineer at Intel before becoming a Product Manager for a Social Virtual Reality platform named High Fidelity. I love being challenged with interesting problems and look for opportunities to continuously learn.

Homaira Naimi currently works on the Administrative Team at Freenome, a biotech startup that is developing technology to detect and treat cancer. She could not be happier working with a team of people-oriented individuals on a mission that she wholeheartedly supports. However, it took her a few opportunities to figure out the work environment she thrives in best.  She started her professional journey at The Chai Cart, a startup in the food industry, when she moved to the Bay Area after graduating from the University of Chicago. During this first experience, she gained immense insight into how to grow a small business and all the operations that allow it to function efficiently. She then moved onto a role in operations at another startup, S4 LLC, this time in the e-commerce space. After honing project management skills and collaborating with execs, she realized she wanted to provide direct support to executives, and therefore moved on to an Executive Assistant position at an executive recruiting firm, Russell Reynolds Associates.  Homaira remains excited about developing her professional life and finding a craft that will allow her to have a flexible schedule while working on something that matters to her. She is still exploring and wants to share her experience with uncertainty with others who feel lost because she feels we can all be happy professionally as long as we do not limit what is possible.

Growing up in a ski town, I spent as much time outside on the mountains as I did in a classroom, so the Bay Area lifestyle suits me well! Before moving to California, I was living in Philadelphia, studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at the University of Pennsylvania. I’ve been lucky enough to have incredible female mentors in my life thus far who have been an essential part of my journey and I wouldn’t be where I am without them. I hope to pay that forward to the next generation of young women right here in my community.

In this role, I work with multiple teams across the organization, and collaborate externally with clients and managing partners in order to support my two executives on the Investment Strategy Team. I successfully manage this by being extremely organized and a master multitasker! A typical day for me involves maintaining numerous calendars for my executives, organizing and attending meetings, and planning countless team offsites, and company events. I was born and raised in Seattle and I received my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration

She has a background in retail management, currently working for lululemon, & has a B.A. in Child & Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge. She has directly contributed to the growth of her community through tutoring elementary & high school students in math & language arts, being a cheerleading coach, and working at an afterschool program. She loves teaching others and hopes to be an inspiration to those around her to always do what is right.

Megan Teevens is a Bay Area native with a passion for uplifting and empowering women and girls. As the oldest of two sisters, she finds herself to be a natural leader and mentor for young women. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder and graduated with a degree in advertising. She currently works in downtown San Francisco for an advertising/marketing agency where she manages multi-channel marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. She has been surrounded by strong female mentors who have guided her in the start of her career and wants to do the same for young women in her community. She believes it is important to invest in the young women of our future and looks forward to being a contributor to this cause.

Linda Zhong, is a consulting associate at Charles River Associates, which is an economic consulting firm, and I specifically work in the transfer pricing practice. I help our multinational clients with their intercompany pricing structures, audit defense, and documentation/compliance work. The majority of my work involves researching tax regulations and industry trends, conducting financial analysis in excel, reviewing data provided by our clients, and drafting the deliverables for our clients, which are usually in report form. I grew up a third of my life on the East Coast, but I consider Bay Area my home since moving here when I was 9 years old. I graduated in 2015 from UC Berkeley, where I majored in business and minored in industrial engineering and operations research. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and culinary adventures.
