Our Youth Advisory Board is made up of Oasis Alumnae who serve as San Francisco community ambassadors

Guadalupe CIsneros   Guadalupe Cisneros is a 17 year old Xicana, and Oasis For Girls alumna of three Oasis programs. Lupe will be starting her freshman year at Mills College this fall, hoping to get a major in Ethnic Studies and a minor in Women’s Studies. She identifies herself as a feminist, poet, and activist advocating for WOC, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Tiffany Allison   Tiffany Allison is an alumna of three Oasis programs. Originally from Boise, Idaho, she moved to San Francisco three years ago and is currently a junior at Mission High School, where she enjoys English and Choir. Outside of school, she works at a recording studio called Sunset Youth Services, where she sings, writes songs, and audio engineers music. She is passionate about body positivity, media representation of femininity, and is working on a book called Born Fat, in which she talks about body positivity, big girl struggles, and sexuality.

Tiffany Allison

Tiffany Allison is an alumna of three Oasis programs. Some of the social justice issues she is passionate about are body image/positivity and sexual assault. Tiffany loves to travel whenever there is a break from school and collects pressed pennies when she does.

She loves traveling to tropical places and is a passionate advocate for immigrant rights, anti-bullying measures in schools, anti-racism, sexual violence education, and body positivity. She loves traveling to tropical places and is a passionate advocate for immigrant rights, anti-bullying measures in schools, anti-racism, sexual violence education, and body positivity. She loves challenges because they teach her something new.

Jency Gonzalez   Jency Gonzalez is 16 and a student at Balboa High School, where she will be starting Pulse, an academic pathway based on social justice. She has had a passion for helping people ever since she was little, enjoys science, and likes to spend time with family and friends in her spare time. As a graduate of three Oasis programs she believes that every girl should be able to experience the amazing sisterhood and support Oasis offers.

Jency Gonzalez is 16 and a student at Balboa High School, where she will be starting Pulse, an academic pathway based on social justice. She has had a passion for helping people ever since she was little, enjoys science, and likes to spend time with family and friends in her spare time. As a graduate of three Oasis programs she believes that every girl should be able to experience the amazing sisterhood and support Oasis offers.

Zurisadai Arellano   Zurisadai Arellano was born in Mexico but raised in San Francisco, the eldest of three siblings. A graduate of three Oasis programs and Balboa High School, she will be the first generation in her family to attend college when she starts at San Francisco State in Fall 2018. She dreams of becoming a health educator, helping young women of color to receive the support they might not get at home or at school. Zuri enjoys playing soccer and dancing in her spare time, and has worked at the San Francisco Zoo’s main gift shop for the last year, which has been an amazing experience for her as a bilingual person, helping people in Spanish and English.
