How to Apply to
Oasis for Girls

We're so happy you're interested in participating in Oasis for Girls! Our programs provide a supportive and inclusive space where you can explore your interests, express yourself authentically and be part of a sisterhood. At Oasis, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about college and career options, engage in social justice issues, and develop life skills that will prepare you to succeed in high school and beyond.

Program Cycles: We have three program cycles each year: Fall (10 weeks), Spring (10 weeks), and Summer (6 weeks). All programs (Create, Rise and Envision) are available during each cycle. Students will be asked to rank programs in order of preference on application.

Eligibility: Girls and girl-identified youth residing and/or attending high school in San Francisco, California. Low-income, first generation, and foster youth are strongly encouraged to apply. Participants in the ENVISION program will need proof of COVID vaccination due to the partnership with UCSF.

Attendance: Participation requires 100% attendance on all program days (Tuesday-Thursday) and special events (select Mondays & Friday graduation). Before applying, please ensure you do not have commitments (e.g., sports, jobs) or vacations that conflict with the program schedule.

Location: Our office is in San Francisco, near the Civic Center Bart/Muni station (7th St/Market St.)

Stipends: Program participants will receive a stipend up to $400, $500, or $600 after successful completion of their first, second and third program.
