Why Donate

While Oasis receives partial funding from government, community, and corporate partners, we rely heavily on individual donors to make up a significant portion of our budget each year. This funding is essential to ensure we can continue to offer our programming to girls while meeting their ongoing needs and helping them grow!

Ways to Give

The number one way you can support Oasis is through your donations. We encourage donating online but also accept checks (click here for details). A great way to increase the impact of your donation is through corporate matching. We encourage you to check here or with your HR department to see if they offer this program.  Oasis for Girls is a registered 501c(3) (under our fiscal sponsor the Tides Center) and qualifies for most matching programs. Our tax ID number is 94-3213100.

You or your company can also support Oasis through sponsorship. Each year Oasis runs large events that bring together our community of fearless female leaders. We have multiple sponsorship levels and opportunities, including Career Week which is a speed networking event with our girls and women in diverse professions and Shine, our annual gala.

Another great way to support Oasis is to share the work we do with your community. As the saying goes - it takes a village. Companies and individuals have organized their own events like walk-a-thons and house parties with funds raised going to Oasis. We are happy to speak to your group and share more about what we do. What Your Donations Accomplish

  • A gift of $1,000 provides a full cycle of programming for one of our Girls, providing a safe space and numerous opportunities to learn, grow, build confidence, and shine in her community and beyond.

  • A gift of $500 supports honoraria for guest speakers in RISE who provide a wealth of knowledge to the girls about healthy bodies, healthy minds and healthy relationships and how to access local resources in San Francisco for their well-being

  • A gift of $250 provides college, academic and career mentoring for 10 girls enrolled in the ENVISION program. This expands their understanding of potential career paths and gives them tangible ideas for how they can connect their passion with purpose.

  • A gift of $150 provides art supplies for three girls in CREATE, allowing them to learn different art media, build healthy self-expression, and learn about community activism.

  • A gift of $50 provides healthy snacks during program and dinners for orientation, graduation, and other program events for one Girl.
